1:00: You will be welcomed by the Vietnam Tourist tour guide at Mien Tay Bus Station (395 Kinh Duong Vuong Street, An Lac Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City). Parking is available at the station at your own expense.

Board a comfortable overnight sleeper bus and travel to Rach Gia. Equipped with modern amenities, the bus offers a relaxing journey, allowing you to rest well before beginning your Hon Son Island adventure the following morning.

MORNING

05:00: Arrive at Rach Gia Ferry Terminal. Take some time to freshen up and relax while your tour guide completes the ferry check-in procedures.

06:30: Receive your ferry ticket from the tour guide. Please keep your ticket together with a valid photo ID (Citizen ID, driver's license, or passport) for boarding.

07:00: Board the high-speed ferry to Hon Son Island (Lai Son), one of the most unspoiled islands in southern Vietnam. Located in Lai Son Commune, Kien Hai District, Kien Giang Province, the island is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, lush forests, freshwater streams, and picturesque coconut groves. (Ferry and bus schedules are subject to change depending on the weekly operating timetable.)

08:30: Arrive at Hon Son Island. Transfer to the guesthouse to store your luggage or check in early (subject to room availability). The guesthouse is conveniently located in the heart of the island and offers air-conditioned rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, and comfortable facilities. Afterwards, enjoy a local breakfast.

09:30: Begin your island exploration with a visit to Nam Hai Whale Temple, a revered spiritual landmark overlooking the sea. Continue to Thien Tue Fishing Village, the island's oldest fishing community, where you'll gain insight into the local way of life and traditional wooden boat-building craftsmanship. Along the way, stop at scenic coastal spots such as Bai Da Chai, Bai Thien Tue, the unique Egg Rocks, and Table Rocks, all perfect for memorable photos.

LUNCH

11:30: Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring fresh local seafood and regional specialties prepared by island residents.

AFTERNOON

13:30: Hop on a motorbike and continue your journey around Hon Son Island. Ride along the island's scenic coastal and mountain roads, offering breathtaking ocean views and unforgettable landscapes.

14:00: Visit the enchanting Unnamed Waterfall, hidden among lush tropical greenery. On the way, stop at Yen Ngua Peak, one of the island's best viewpoints, where you can admire panoramic views of Hon Son Island.

15:00: Continue to Bai Bac, where you'll have time to stroll along the beautiful pier and take photos with the island's famous Giant Stone Turtle, one of Hon Son's most iconic landmarks.

16:00: Relax and swim at Bai Bang, widely regarded as the island's most beautiful beach, featuring powdery white sand, crystal-clear water, and rows of swaying coconut palms.

17:00: Return to the guesthouse. On the way, stop at Bai Xep to capture photos of the island's legendary Leaning Coconut Tree, gracefully stretching toward the turquoise sea.

19:00: Enjoy a BBQ dinner featuring a selection of fresh local seafood.

EVENING

Spend the rest of the evening at your leisure. Take a relaxing stroll along the beach, enjoy a coffee, or experience the peaceful atmosphere of Hon Son Island after sunset.

MORNING

06:00: Enjoy breakfast at the guesthouse.

07:00: Begin an exciting trek to Ma Thien Lanh Peak, often referred to as the island's hidden paradise. Accompanied by your tour guide, hike through lush tropical forest, cross gentle streams, and follow scenic mountain trails while taking in the island's spectacular natural beauty.

08:30: Reach the summit of Ma Thien Lanh Peak, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the turquoise sea and surrounding islands. The refreshing ocean breeze, peaceful forest atmosphere, and birdsong create a truly unforgettable experience.

A short walk away is San Tien, a dramatic rock outcrop extending toward the sea and one of Hon Son's most popular photo spots. Please take extra care, as the rocks can be slippery, especially during wet weather.

09:30: Descend the mountain and return to the guesthouse.

11:00: Arrive back at the guesthouse.

LUNCH

11:30: Enjoy lunch featuring local specialties, followed by free time to relax at the guesthouse.

AFTERNOON

14:00: Board a local fishing boat for a memorable island experience. Equipped with life jackets and snorkeling gear, you'll explore the vibrant coral reefs surrounding Hon Son Island. You can also try recreational fishing or discover the island's rich marine life while snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters.

16:30: Return to the harbor and head back to the guesthouse for a shower and some time to relax.

19:00: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

EVENING

Spend the evening at your leisure. You may take a relaxing walk along the beach or join an optional night squid fishing excursion to experience the life of a local fisherman and try catching fresh squid. (Optional activity at your own expense.)

MORNING

07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the guesthouse. Take in the peaceful island atmosphere, sip a cup of coffee, and admire the beautiful sunrise over Hon Son Island.

08:30: Check out of the guesthouse and transfer to the ferry terminal for your return journey to Rach Gia.

09:30: Board the high-speed ferry back to the mainland.

LUNCH

11:30: Arrive at Rach Gia Ferry Terminal, where your vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to a local restaurant for lunch.

AFTERNOON

13:00: Depart for Ho Chi Minh City by sleeper bus. Along the way, the bus will make one or two rest stops, giving you time to stretch your legs, enjoy refreshments, or shop for Mekong Delta specialties such as Lai Vung fermented pork rolls, seasonal tropical fruits, and other local delicacies to take home as souvenirs.

21:00: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer back to the original pick-up point.
