05:00: The Vietnam Tourist’s guide will pick you up at the meeting point and depart for the Ca Mau 3 days 2 nights tour.

08:00: Arrive in Can Tho. The coach stops at a local restaurant where guests enjoy breakfast.

09:00: Arrive at the wharf and board a boat to travel to Con Son Islet – a small islet located on the peaceful Hau River between Can Tho and Vinh Long provinces, home to fewer than 100 households.

Covering nearly 70 hectares of fertile land enriched by alluvial soil year-round, Con Son is blessed with lush orchards, sweet tropical fruits, and a diverse ecosystem deeply reflecting the charm of Southern Vietnam.

Visiting here, you will feel like stepping into a peaceful countryside escape, with a quiet, fresh atmosphere and simple rustic beauty. Guests also have the opportunity to interact with friendly, honest, and hospitable local residents, creating a warm and memorable experience.

Travelling along the peaceful hau river to begin an exciting journey of discovery at con son islet – a community-based ecotourism destination promising many interesting and attractive experiences.

First, the boat will take you to visit the floating fish farms on the Hau River. Over 30 fish cages of various sizes are lined up for nearly one kilometer, standing firmly on the waters of the Mekong Delta.

These farms raise many types of fish such as basa, snakehead, giant barb, and others, with the main specialty being spotted featherback fish (ca thac lac cuom).

- Continues to to Con Son Islet. Upon arrival, you are warmly welcomed by friendly local residents with a refreshing traditional drink made from breadfruit leaves or butterfly pea flowers grown in their home gardens.

- Visit lush fruit orchards featuring rambutan, longan, pomelo, mangosteen, strawberry, guava, and many other tropical fruits, all heavy with fruit in season. Guests can freely pick fruits directly from the trees and enjoy them fresh right in the orchard.

- Experience crossing a traditional “monkey bridge” – a narrow, swaying bamboo bridge typical of the Mekong Delta countryside.

- Continue strolling and enjoying the fresh, peaceful atmosphere of the countryside right in the middle of the Hau River.

- Explore local culture and cuisine through traditional cake-making activities. Guests will be warmly guided by local residents to prepare 7 types of traditional Vietnamese cakes:

Layered Pandan Cake (Banh Da Lon)

- Experience the unique performance of “flying snakehead fish” jumping on the water surface—an unusual and fascinating spectacle. Then continue to explore a guava orchard and enjoy fresh, delicious guavas picked directly from the trees.

NOON:

12:00: Enjoy lunch at Con Son Islet with a selection of local specialties, rich in the authentic flavors of the region.

AFTERNOON:

13:30: Transfer back to the mainland by boat, then proceed to the hotel for check-in and relaxation.

16:00: Visit the Gold-Plated House and Fairy Garden – a uniquely designed golden house with elegant interiors that showcase the owner’s artistic vision and strong aesthetic sense.

You can enjoy dressing up in royal-style costumes and taking photos in a palace-like setting, experiencing the luxurious and majestic atmosphere of this remarkable site.(Own expense).

17:30: Board a 5-star cruise for dinner and a scenic evening cruise along the Can Tho River.

Immerse in the peaceful river atmosphere and enjoy “Đờn ca tài tử” – a traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music art form. The program also features impressive magic performances. In addition, join the “singing together” program and showcase your voice in a joyful and interactive atmosphere.

EVENING: Free time to explore Ninh Kieu Wharf – Can Tho at night.

Overnight in Can Tho City

MORNING:

05:30: Transfer to Can Tho Tourist Wharf and board a boat to visit Cai Rang Floating Market – the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta, where visitors can experience the bustling river trade and the unique “Cay Beo” system used to display goods on boats.

06:00: The boat continues to a traditional Hu Tieu workshop. Here, you will learn about the local noodle-making process and also discover the famous “Hu Tieu Pizza” – crispy fried rice noodles topped with ingredients such as ham and seasoning, prepared according to personal taste. (Own expense).

07:00: Return to Can Tho Tourist Wharf. The bus  picks you up and transfers  back to the hotel for breakfast and check-out. 

08:30: Depart to Dat Mui – Ca Mau via the new Can Tho – Ca Mau expressway.

NOON::o::

12:00: Arrive at  Dat Mui- Ca Mau to enjoy lunch at Local restaurant.

After lunch, check in at the homestay and relax.

AFTERNOON:

14:30: Board a canoe to begin an exciting journey through the Ca Mau mangrove forest, enjoying the sunset at the southernmost point of Vietnam – a land known as “land that expands, forests that move, and seas full of life.”

15:30: Visit the newly inaugurated Dat Mui scenic complex with many impressive landmarks and architectural works.

18:30: Experience authentic local activities in Ca Mau, including:

Setting crab traps and catching mud crabs (crabs can be weighed and purchased if desired)

Catching Ba Khia by hand at night

Enjoying fish and Ba Khia caught by yourself

19:30: Enjoy a BBQ dinner and join a cultural exchange with music and entertainment.

EVENING: Free time to relax.

Overnight in Dat Mui – Ca Mau.

MORNING

06:00: Enjoy breakfast and check out of the hotel.

07:00: Depart for Bac Lieu.

09:30: Visit Bac Lieu Prince House – a famous historical mansion known for its Western-style architecture, built between 1917 and 1919.

The Bac Lieu Prince, real name Tran Trinh Huy (also known as Ba Huy), was the third son in his family and famously known as one of the most extravagant and wealthy playboys in Southern Vietnam during the 1930s–1940s.

Alternatively, free time for shopping at Bac Lieu Market.

10:00: Continue to Quan Am Nam Hai Temple (Mother Nam Hai Pagoda) to offer incense and pray for peace and good fortune.

This Northern Buddhist temple is located in Nha Mat Ward, Bac Lieu City. It features a majestic 11-meter-tall statue of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva facing the East Sea (Nam Hai).

Nearby, there is also an opportunity to visit and shop at the Trai Mat tourist area.

NOON:.

12:00: Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.

AFTERNOON: 

13:00: Depart to Soc Trang

14:00: Continue visiting Wat Pătum Wôngsa Som Rông, a beautiful Khmer pagoda well-known for its stunning photo spots that resemble temples in Thailand. Also known locally as Som Rong Pagoda, the temple was built over 600 years ago. In addition, this site is home to the largest reclining Buddha statue in Vietnam, which is soon to be officially inaugurated. 

15:00: We will stop for sightseeing and shopping at Tân Huê Viên, not only the largest producer of the famous bánh pía in Vietnam, but also an attractive tourist destination featuring unique architecture, especially the impressive Lotus Tower (Liên Hoa Bảo Tháp). In addition, many beautiful new check-in photo spots were completed in early 2025, making it an ideal place for memorable photos.

16:00: Depart for Ho Chi Minh City.

20:00: Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City. The vehicle will transfer guests to the original pick-up point. End of the 3-day 2-night Cà Mau tour.
