BEN TRE - CAN THO 2N1D TOUR 

Morning:

05:00: The tour guide from Vietnam Tourist will pick up guests at the meeting point and depart for the Ben Tre – My Tho – Can Tho 2 Days 1 Night tour. During the journey, guests can enjoy light activities with the tour guide and relax on the bus.

Note: For this pick-up point, the drop-off on the return trip will be at Ben Thanh Market.

07:30: The group stops at a rest station for breakfast, then continues the journey to My Tho.

09:00: Depart to My Tho Tourist Pier. Board a motorized boat for a cruise along the Tien River. Enjoy the scenic views of local floating fish farms, the majestic Rach Mieu Bridge, and the four famous islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix.

09:30: The boat stops at Thoi Son Islet, where guests take a walk along village paths, visit local homes and fruit orchards, and enjoy seasonal tropical fruits while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music (Don Ca Tai Tu). Then continues with a stop at a local honey bee farm to taste honey lemon tea.

10:00: Enjoy a rowing boat ride through narrow canals, passing under lush rows of nipa palm trees and admiring the simple, peaceful beauty of the Mekong countryside. This is a great chance to experience local river life up close.

The group stops at a local home to enjoy a cup of honey tea, then continues walking along village paths. The visit also includes a stop at a coconut candy workshop – a signature specialty of Ben Tre Province – and a traditional rice paper making workshop.

LUNCH:

12:00: Enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant along the Tien River, featuring local specialties of the Mekong Delta.

AFTERNOON:

 13:00: The group boards the boat and continues cruising along the Tien River to Phung Islet (also known as Coconut Religion Islet).

Here, You willl visit and learn about the unique architectural works of the Coconut Religion, explore the exhibition area featuring historical photos and cultural heritage sites of Ben Tre Province.

The visit also includes the Coconut Museum, showcasing artifacts and daily life of local people, a traditional coconut handicraft workshop, a coconut candy production facility – the famous specialty of Ben Tre, and a calligraphy house.

02:00 PM: Continue visiting CoCo Island – a riverside eco-tourism complex featuring scenic riverside accommodation areas, the “Heaven Staircase,” and the Coconut Wharf along the riverbank.

You can also explore the crocodile farm and enjoy various optional activities such as crocodile fishing, recreational fishing, koi fish foot massage, water zorbing, and other fun experiences.

Adventure activities are also available at the water playground area, including balance bridges, cycling across wooden planks, zipline, and rope walking over the lake (optional activities at personal expense).

14:30: The boat will take guests back to the bus. Depart by bus to Can Tho.
16:00: Arrive in Can Tho. Check in at the hotel and relax.
19:00: Boarding a 5-star cruise for dinner and a sightseeing cruise along the Can Tho River.

During the journey, you will immerse themselves in the charming atmosphere of the Mekong Delta, enjoying traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music (Đờn ca tài tử), along with captivating magic performances. You can also participate in the “singing together” program and showcase their own vocal talents.

Evening: You are free to explore Ninh Kieu Wharf – Can Tho at night.

MORNING:

05:30: Depart for Can Tho Tourist Wharf and board a boat to visit Cai Rang Floating Market – the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta.

Here, you will experience the lively river trading activities of local people and learn about their unique way of selling goods on boats through the “Cay Beo” signal system, where products are displayed by hanging them on poles for buyers to easily recognize.

06:00: The boat departs from the floating market and continues to a traditional Hu Tieu noodle workshop. You will explore the traditional noodle-making process.

This site is also famous for its unique “Hu Tieu Pizza” – a creative local dish made from rice noodles. The process is simple: noodles are seasoned, deep-fried until crispy, then topped with ham and other ingredients depending on personal preference, creating a delicious and crunchy “pizza-style” Hu Tieu. (Own expense)

07:00:  Returns to Can Tho Tourist Wharf for breakfast at Hotel and check out.

08:30: Visit My Khanh Tourist Village where you can explore a 30-hectare eco-tourism area featuring more than 20 types of fruit trees, ancient Southern Vietnamese houses over 100 years old, and enjoy traditional “vọng cổ” music played on a century-old hand-cranked gramophone.

You can also watch exciting performances such as pig racing, dog racing, and monkey circus shows, as well as join recreational activities like crocodile fishing and rowing boats on the river.

Experience “catching fish in a rural canal” (optional, extra cost) – a traditional daily activity of Southern Vietnamese farmers. The caught fish will be prepared into local dishes in the authentic “Southern frontier cuisine” style.
LUNCH

11:30: Enjoy lunch at local resstaurant.

Afternoon 

13:00: Visit Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery – the largest Zen monastery in the Mekong Delta and one of the most important Buddhist architectural works in Southern Vietnam.

Upon arrival, You can stroll around the site, observing the monastery from the outside to the inside. The highlight is its very spacious campus with many impressive structures such as the Three-Entrance Gate (Tam Quan), Main Hall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Rear Hall.

The entire complex features a unified architectural style with brown-red tiled roofs, large wooden pillars, and solid stone foundations, creating a strong yet peaceful atmosphere.

14:30: Depart for Ho Chi Minh City.

17:00: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. We will transfer the group back to the original pick-up point. The tour of Ben Tre – My Tho – Can Tho (2 days 1 night) comes to an end.
