21:30: Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by the VIETNAM TOURIST Hanoi Branch guide and transferred to the Royal Palace Sleeper Bus. Begin your 4-Day 4-Night Ha Giang – Ban Gioc Waterfall Tour.

Overnight on a high-quality sleeper cabin bus. During the journey, the bus will make two rest stops for refreshments and personal breaks.

Morning

05:30: Arrive in Ha Giang City, where you will be transferred to a local restaurant to freshen up before enjoying a buffet breakfast.

After breakfast, begin your journey to the spectacular Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark. The first stop is Km 0 Ha Giang, the symbolic starting point of National Highway 2 connecting Ha Giang and Hanoi. Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate to admire the famous Quan Ba Twin Mountains (Fairy Bosom Mountains) and enjoy panoramic views over Tam Son Town.

The journey continues to the iconic Lone Tree, dramatically perched on a rocky hillside, before passing through the scenic Tham Ma Pass, renowned for its winding mountain roads and breathtaking landscapes. Along the way, you may have the opportunity to take photos with local H'mong children dressed in their colorful traditional costumes.

Next, visit Pho Cao Village, where traditional H'mong houses with clay walls and distinctive stone fences have preserved the authentic lifestyle of the local community. Continue to Sung La Village to visit Pao's House, a beautifully preserved H'mong home featured in the award-winning Vietnamese film The Story of Pao. Depending on the season, you can also admire the vibrant buckwheat flower fields surrounding the village.

12:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near the Mat Ngoc Ancient Stone Field.

Afternoon

After lunch, visit the historic Vuong Palace (H'mong King's Palace), the former residence of Vuong Chinh Duc, once the most influential H'mong leader in the Dong Van region. The palace is an impressive blend of Chinese, French, and H'mong architecture.

Continue to Lung Cu Flag Tower, proudly marking Vietnam's northernmost point. On the way, stop to photograph the picturesque buckwheat flower fields (seasonal) before driving through the magnificent limestone landscapes of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.

17:00: Arrive in Dong Van Town. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel.

Travel along the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, widely regarded as the most spectacular section of the famous Happiness Road. Stop to admire the breathtaking Ma Pi Leng Canyon, where dramatic limestone cliffs rise above one of Vietnam's deepest gorges.

Continue to Ma Pi Leng Panorama, a popular viewpoint overlooking the magnificent Tu San Canyon and the emerald-green Nho Que River winding gracefully through the mountains below.

Descend to the Nho Que River, one of Ha Giang's most iconic natural attractions. Flowing through the majestic Tu San Canyon, the river is celebrated for its crystal-clear jade-colored water and breathtaking scenery.

Board a boat for a relaxing cruise along the Nho Que River, where towering limestone cliffs soar above both sides of the canyon. As you glide through this spectacular landscape, immerse yourself in the tranquility and beauty of one of northern Vietnam's most unforgettable natural wonders.

Continue to Pa Vi Hmong Cultural Tourism Village, a charming community nestled at the foot of Ma Pi Leng Pass. Explore traditional H'mong houses built with earthen walls and stone fences, admire colorful brocade costumes, and experience the authentic culture and daily life of the local people.

Afternoon

After lunch, depart for Cao Bang City, passing through the stunning mountain scenery of Vietnam's northeastern highlands.

18:00: Arrive in Cao Bang City. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel.

07:30: Depart for Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of Vietnam's most spectacular natural wonders. Standing 53 meters high and cascading over three levels, it is considered the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia. The waterfall is also located on the border between Vietnam and China, making it a unique natural landmark.

10:00: Arrive at Ban Gioc Waterfall. After your guide arranges the entrance tickets, begin exploring the waterfall. Situated on the Vietnam–China border, the waterfall is shared by both countries. From the base of the falls, you can clearly see the two sections: the subsidiary waterfall on the left and the main waterfall on the right. The subsidiary waterfall and the left half of the main waterfall belong to Vietnam, while the right half of the main waterfall belongs to China.

In Vietnam, the subsidiary waterfall is known as Cao Waterfall and the main waterfall as Thap Waterfall, although together they are collectively referred to as Ban Gioc Waterfall. On the Chinese side, the main waterfall is called Detian Waterfall, while the subsidiary waterfall is known as Ban Yue Waterfall.

11:00: Continue to Nguom Ngao Cave, one of the longest and most beautiful limestone caves in Vietnam. Famous for its fascinating Tay ethnic legends, the cave impresses visitors with its enormous chambers and countless shimmering stalactites and stalagmites. Formed over millions of years, these unique rock formations create a magical underground labyrinth, where every corner sparks the imagination with shapes resembling blooming lotus flowers, graceful maidens, and many other natural sculptures.

13:30: Depart for Ba Be Lake, a famous ecotourism destination in Bac Kan Province. As the largest natural freshwater lake in northern Vietnam, Ba Be Lake is located in Nam Mau Commune, Ba Be District, Bac Kan Province, approximately 230 km north of Hanoi. Formed by the confluence of the Pe Lam, Pe Lu, and Pe Leng rivers, the lake is renowned for its peaceful atmosphere, pristine landscapes, pleasant year-round climate, and the unique culture of the local ethnic communities.

09:30: Return by boat to Pac Ngoi Wharf.
